Supported Xbox consoles
The Xbox Store product page lists Xbox Series X|S as the supported consoles. Trailmark Games names Series X|S in its launch lineup, which corroborates the store. Both sources agree on the October 23, 2026 release date. The game had not launched at the time of our October 22 check.
No Xbox One edition was verified. If you own an older console, check carefully before buying any listing with a similar name. Other Warrior Cats products exist, so confirm the full title and publisher. The genuine listing names Trailmark Games as publisher.
Editions and prices
The Xbox Store separately identifies a Standard bundle and a Feral bundle. The Feral Edition adds the Prophecy Pack cosmetics to the base game. In our US snapshot, Standard cost $29.99 and Feral cost $39.99. These match the PlayStation prices we saw.
Prices and regional availability can change, so confirm them at checkout. The Prophecy Pack contains 8 cat-creator accessories, 12 wearable accessories, a cel-shaded character skin, 4 photo-mode poses and 4 photo-mode effects. It adds no extra story campaign. Purchase rights for each bundle are shown on the store page.

Xbox Store capability labels
The Xbox listing shows 4K, HDR10 and 60 fps+ capability labels. These are store labels, not measured results. No frame-rate testing or Series S comparison was collected in our research. Labels can describe what a console supports rather than what a game always achieves.
Treat the labels as what the store advertises rather than a performance guarantee. Performance can differ between Series X and Series S. Hands-on results will only be available after launch. We will add tested notes for both consoles.
Is it on Game Pass?
No Game Pass inclusion was verified. A Game Pass link in the Xbox site navigation does not mean this game is in the catalog. Check the product page itself for a Game Pass badge before assuming access. Subscription catalogs are announced officially when a game joins.
If Game Pass availability is announced later, we will add it here with the official source. Until then, the game is a standard purchase on Xbox. The Standard and Feral editions are the two listed options. Neither is described as part of a subscription.
PC under "Play with"
The Xbox page also lists PC under its "Play with" field. That field alone does not establish cross-save, cross-play or Play Anywhere entitlement. We did not find an official statement confirming any of those features. Read the listing closely for an explicit Play Anywhere label.
On PC, the verified store is Steam, which is a separate purchase. Do not expect an Xbox purchase to unlock the Steam version. Check the Xbox listing for any Play Anywhere label before buying. We will update this section if Microsoft or the publisher confirms more.
Online features on Xbox
The Xbox description details the online features. Skirmish battles against other players happen asynchronously, as do camp visits and helping friends with crafted items or resources. These are not a live co-op campaign. Friends do not need to be online at the same time.
Matchmaking steps, friend limits and cross-play were not verified. Whether online features need a paid subscription was not confirmed either. We will update this section after testing. Our multiplayer page explains the asynchronous system in more depth.
What you play on Xbox
The game is an adventure RPG inspired by Erin Hunter's books, set in the Lake Territories. You create an original cat and choose one of four Clans, each with its own story campaign. Hunting, exploration, quests, crafting and den customization fill your days. Completing quests earns favor with your Clan.
Combat is turn-based, with up to three cats per side and 75 unlockable moves. Stances, Clan techniques, enemy weaknesses and ancestor attacks shape each battle. The publisher's description is the same across all platforms. Prophecy, Defender and Skirmish are the three listed modes.
Six locations are confirmed: the four Clan territories, the Moonpool and the Island. Exploration includes scent tracking, climbing and environmental puzzles. ThunderClan lives in dense forest, RiverClan in marshland, ShadowClan in pine swamps and WindClan on open moors. Our map page lists every location.

The three game modes
The Xbox description lists three modes, matching Steam and PlayStation. Prophecy is the story mode containing the four Clan campaigns. Defender is a survival challenge that tests your battle skills. Skirmish is where you battle other players asynchronously.
Only Skirmish, camp visits and helping friends involve other players. All of these work without both players being online at once. The story itself is a single-player experience. Our multiplayer page goes into more detail.
