What we checked
We searched the web and Amazon directly for a listing of this game. No usable product page with a verified seller and edition turned up. Because of that, this page does not link to Amazon or claim that Amazon has stock. We also did not find an Amazon-specific video about the game.
A real listing would need a working product page, the country, the seller, the edition, the console and the physical format. It would also need a dated availability status. We will add those details here if a verified listing appears. Until then, this page explains the confirmed alternatives.
Confirmed places to buy
The publisher's official game page is the safest starting point, because it links to current purchase options. Each platform also has its own official store listing. These pages confirm the product itself and its October 23, 2026 release date. They are checked and linked in our sources.
On PC, Steam is the verified store. On consoles, use the PlayStation Store, Xbox Store or Nintendo eShop listing for your system. Buying from the official store for your platform avoids confusion with similar products. Digital purchases from these stores are tied to your platform account.
| Platform | Official store |
|---|---|
| Windows PC | Steam |
| PlayStation 5 | PlayStation Store |
| Xbox Series X|S | Xbox Store |
| Nintendo Switch | Nintendo eShop |
| Nintendo Switch 2 | Nintendo eShop |
Watch out for similar products
Many unrelated products share the Warrior Cats name. Search results on retail sites often mix the Erin Hunter novels, merchandise and other Warrior Cats games. Check the full title, Warrior Cats: Clans of the Forest, and the platform before buying. A listing for a book or plush toy is not the game.
The game is developed by Bamtang Games and published by Trailmark Games. Those names should appear on a genuine listing. If a product page names a different publisher, it is probably a different item. Official copyright lines name Trailmark Games LLC and Working Partners Ltd, a Coolabi company.
Editions to compare
Official console stores list a Standard Edition and a Feral Edition. The Feral Edition includes the base game plus the Prophecy Pack cosmetic DLC. In our US snapshot on PlayStation and Xbox, Standard was $29.99 and Feral was $39.99. Use these as a reference when you compare any retail price.
The Prophecy Pack contains 8 cat-creator accessories, 12 wearable accessories, a cel-shaded character skin, 4 photo-mode poses and 4 photo-mode effects. A digital console listing cannot confirm what a physical retail box contains. Check the retailer's description of box contents for any physical copy. The edition name should be printed clearly.
Physical copies and preorder bonuses
Do not assume a physical box holds the full game on its disc or cartridge. Some boxed releases require a download. The listing or box should state this clearly. Check your storage space if a download is required.
The publisher promotes the Purrfect Look Pack as a bonus for digital preorders. Retail preorders, including any from Amazon, may not receive it. Read the bonus terms on the specific product page before ordering. Bonuses for physical orders, if any, should be stated by the retailer.
What the game is
Warrior Cats: Clans of the Forest is an adventure RPG inspired by Erin Hunter's Warriors books. You create an original cat, join one of four Clans and play that Clan's story campaign. Battles are turn-based, with up to three cats per side and 75 unlockable moves. It launches on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch and Switch 2.
Knowing these details helps you confirm you are buying the right product. A genuine listing should mention the same platforms and features. If the description sounds very different, it is likely another product. Our platforms page lists each official store.
When we will update this page
We will recheck retail listings around and after the October 23, 2026 launch. If Amazon lists the game with a verified seller and edition, we will add the region, edition and date checked. Until then, the official stores are the confirmed options. This page is dated so you can see how fresh it is.
If you find a genuine listing, you can send it to us through the contact page. Please include the product link, country, seller and edition. We will verify it before publishing. Unverified links will not appear on this site.
Quick facts to match against any listing
Use the facts below to check whether a retail listing is the real game. They come from the official stores and the publisher. A genuine product page should agree with them. Anything that conflicts is a reason to look more closely.
| Detail | Official value |
|---|---|
| Full title | Warrior Cats: Clans of the Forest |
| Developer | Bamtang Games |
| Publisher | Trailmark Games |
| Release date | October 23, 2026 |
| Platforms | PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, Switch 2 |
| Editions | Standard, Feral (with Prophecy Pack) |
The game modes you would be buying
Every official listing describes three modes. Prophecy is the story mode with four Clan campaigns, Defender is a survival challenge and Skirmish is asynchronous competition against other players. Online camp visits and helping friends are also asynchronous. There is no confirmed live co-op mode.
These details are the same on every platform's store page. If a retail description mentions features like live co-op or a different set of Clans, treat it with caution. It may describe another Warrior Cats product. The official stores remain the reliable reference.
