Two different Warrior Cats games
Ultimate Edition lives inside Roblox. You join a server, pick or design a cat and roleplay with other players in real time. It is free to play and runs anywhere Roblox runs, including phones and tablets.
Clans of the Forest is a standalone console and PC game. You create an original cat, join ThunderClan, RiverClan, ShadowClan or WindClan, and play that Clan's story campaign in the Lake Territories with turn-based battles. Its online features are asynchronous, so it is not a live roleplay server like WCUE.

Why people search for "Ultimate Edition"
Many Warriors fans grew up with WCUE, so the name comes up whenever a new Warrior Cats game appears. Retail and store pages that sell a premium bundle can also make players assume a deluxe "ultimate" version exists.
For Clans of the Forest, the premium bundle is called the Feral Edition. It adds the cosmetic Prophecy Pack to the base game. If a listing calls itself an "Ultimate Edition" of Clans of the Forest, check the publisher name before you buy.
Which one should you play?
Pick Ultimate Edition if you want free, live roleplay with friends and you are happy to make your own stories. Pick Clans of the Forest if you want a structured Clan campaign, quests and tactical battles you can play on your own.
You can of course play both. Nothing carries over between them: your Roblox cat and your Clans of the Forest cat are completely separate.
- Want live roleplay with friends for free: Ultimate Edition.
- Want a story RPG with four Clan campaigns: Clans of the Forest.
- Play on phone or tablet: only Ultimate Edition, via Roblox.
