Is there a Warrior Cats: Clans of the Forest walkthrough?

Not yet. A complete, reproducible quest-by-quest walkthrough for Warrior Cats: Clans of the Forest has not been verified, because the game releases on October 23, 2026. What is confirmed is the structure: Prophecy mode contains four Clan stories, and official descriptions also advertise generated quests and story variation. This page explains that structure so you know what a real walkthrough will look like.

How the story is organized

Prophecy is the story mode, and it holds four separate Clan campaigns. You choose ThunderClan, RiverClan, ShadowClan or WindClan, and each Clan has its own story shaped by its culture and conflicts. A walkthrough therefore has to be organized by Clan first. One Clan's solution will not cover the others.

You play as an original cat rather than a character from the novels. The developer describes a designed path from apprentice to warrior. Your choices also affect your cat's story and the moves it learns. That makes your journey personal rather than fixed.

Fixed story beats vs generated content

Official store descriptions advertise generated characters, quests and stories. The publisher also describes branching journeys driven by your choices. That means two players may not see exactly the same sequence of quests. Some content stays the same, while some changes between runs.

A reliable walkthrough must separate the stable story objectives from content that changes between runs. Writing one fixed list of steps would mislead players whose run differs. This is why we have not published chapter-by-chapter instructions. We would rather wait than publish something that does not match your game.

Why the books are not a walkthrough

The game tells an original story in the Lake Territories. It does not simply retell the plot of the novels. Using book events as quest solutions would give you wrong answers. Your cat is new, so its story is new too.

Mechanics from other Warrior Cats games do not apply here either. This game has its own quests, combat and progression. We only use information about Clans of the Forest itself. Book lore is useful background, but it is kept separate on this wiki.

What the other modes add

Besides Prophecy, Steam lists Defender, a survival challenge, and Skirmish, an asynchronous competition against other players. These modes are separate from the story campaigns. A story walkthrough does not need to cover them. They will get their own guides once tested.

Online camp visits and helping friends with crafted items or resources are also asynchronous. They happen alongside your own game rather than as shared story missions. No live co-op campaign has been announced. Your walkthrough progress is your own.

Systems you meet along the way

Official descriptions list hunting, exploration, quests, crafting and turn-based battles as core activities. Exploration includes scent tracking, climbing and environmental puzzles. Completing quests earns favor with your Clan. Each of these will appear in a full walkthrough.

Battles allow up to three cats per side, and there are 75 unlockable moves. Moves change your stance, and the publisher highlights Clan techniques, enemy weaknesses and ancestor attacks. Opponents include rival cats, foxes, badgers and dogs. Our combat guide covers these systems.

How we will build the walkthrough

After launch we will organize the walkthrough by Clan, then by the actual objective text in the game. For each step we plan to record prerequisites, route, battles and rewards. We will also note the platform and game version used. Patches can change details, so versions matter.

Every step will be checked in a real playthrough before we publish it. Where content is generated, we will explain the patterns rather than listing one fixed answer. Screenshots from our own play will accompany the steps. That way you can match each step to what you see.

What you can prepare now

Decide which Clan you want to play first, since each campaign is separate. Learn how turn-based combat works, including stances, Clan techniques and enemy weaknesses. Read up on the six confirmed locations of the Lake Territories. Preparation makes the opening hours smoother.

Our beginner guide, Clan overview, combat guide and map page cover these topics with official information. They will make the opening hours easier to understand. We will link each walkthrough section to them once it is published. Bookmark this page to check for updates.

Claims to avoid

Be cautious with any guide that publishes fixed "Chapter 1" instructions before launch. No official chapter list or mandatory mission order has been released. Ending guides and boss solutions are not verified either. A campaign that moves from kit to elder has not been confirmed.

An announced gameplay preview mentioned a first ThunderClan quest, but we could not access its details directly. We have not used it as a source for quest steps. Only verified information will appear in our walkthrough. If you see quest names before launch, check where they came from.

Where the story takes place

Every campaign is set in the Lake Territories. Six locations are confirmed: the four Clan territories, the Moonpool and the Island. The Moonpool and the Island are described as sacred destinations. A full walkthrough will reference these places as the story moves through them.

Each Clan's home territory has its own terrain: dense forest, marshland, pine swamps or open moors. Exploration includes scent tracking, climbing and environmental puzzles. Exact routes between places were not verified. Our map page lists every location with its official description.
