The Steam product page is the primary record for the PC version. It names Bamtang Games as developer and Trailmark Games as publisher, matching the publisher's own game page. The app number 3960600 identifies the full game, which helps you avoid unrelated Warrior Cats titles with similar names. Search results for "Warrior Cats" on Steam can include other projects, so check the developer name.
Trailmark separately lists PC among the supported platforms and agrees with Steam on the October 23, 2026 date. The publisher also names the Epic Games Store as a PC storefront. We could not verify an accessible Epic listing, so this wiki links only to Steam for PC. If an Epic page becomes available, we will add it after checking it.
During our research the Steam page offered pre-purchase rather than a playable product. That means the full game had not unlocked yet. Once it launches, the purchase button will change and the game will appear in your library as playable. We will note the confirmed launch on this page.
PC system requirements
Steam publishes the requirements below, and we reproduce them as listed rather than as tested benchmarks. They describe the minimum hardware the publisher expects, not a promised frame rate. Check the store again after launch, because requirements can be revised. The listing is the final word for your purchase decision.
The game is listed for Windows 10 and Windows 11 in 64-bit form. No native Mac or Linux version was verified. Steam Deck performance and compatibility were not tested in our research either. If you play on unusual hardware, wait for post-launch reports before buying.

Steam features
The listing shows Steam Achievements and Steam Cloud support. Achievements confirm that the PC version tracks unlocks, but a full list of names and conditions was not available to us. Steam Cloud covers saves on Steam, and it does not establish cross-platform saves with consoles. Our achievements page tracks the list status.
Steam also lists the game's supported languages. The official stores confirm English, German, French and Spanish among them. Check the language table on Steam for interface, audio and subtitle details before buying. Language support can differ between text and voice.
What the game offers on PC
Steam describes three modes. Prophecy is the story mode with four Clan campaigns, Defender is a survival challenge and Skirmish is asynchronous competition against other players. Online camp visits and helping friends with crafted items or resources are also asynchronous. No live co-op mode is described on the store page.
Combat is turn-based, with battles of up to three against three and 75 unlockable combat moves. You create an original cat and choose ThunderClan, RiverClan, ShadowClan or WindClan. Hunting, exploration, quests, crafting and den customization fill the time between battles. The adventure takes place in the Lake Territories.
Steam also lists the six locations: the four Clan territories, the Moonpool and the Island. Exploration includes scent tracking, climbing and environmental puzzles. Completing quests earns favor with your Clan. These are the publisher's descriptions rather than our own tested findings.
Prophecy Pack DLC on Steam
The Prophecy Pack has its own Steam page and requires the base game. In our snapshot it was priced at $14.99, though prices vary by region and sale. It is cosmetic content, not an extra Clan campaign. On consoles it comes bundled in the Feral Edition.
The pack contains 8 cat-creator accessories, 12 wearable accessories, a cel-shaded character skin, 4 photo-mode poses and 4 photo-mode effects. Its page also carries the Steam Achievements label. That label alone does not show that the pack adds achievements of its own. See our DLC page for a full comparison.
Before you buy on Steam
Confirm the price in your own currency on the store page, because regional pricing differs. Read the edition carefully if a bundle with the Prophecy Pack is offered. The digital preorder bonus promoted by the publisher, the Purrfect Look Pack, applies to digital preorders. Check the store wording to confirm it applies to your order.
Remember that the game had not launched at the time of our check. Reviews, performance reports and patch notes will only appear after October 23, 2026. We will add verified post-launch details to this page as they become available. Until then, rely on the official listing rather than early rumors.
Who makes the game
Warrior Cats: Clans of the Forest is developed by Bamtang Games and published by Trailmark Games. It is inspired by Erin Hunter's Warriors novels, but it tells an original story with a player-created cat. The official media copyright lines name Trailmark Games LLC and Working Partners Ltd, a Coolabi company. This wiki is an independent fan site and is not affiliated with any of them.
IGN published a long interview with the developer and Coolabi on September 1, 2026, the day the release date was announced. In it, Bamtang's creative director explains the original protagonist, Clan roles and stance-based combat. That interview is one of our main sources for how the game is designed.
